Northamptonshire LINk is a group of individuals and community groups who work together to improve Northamptonshire's health and social care services (such as hospitals, care homes and GPs). It is responsible for ensuring people's views are heard.

Some partner organisations

We have developed good working relationships with health and social care providers in Northamptonshire. Please visit their sites to find out more about the work they do.

NHS Northamptonshire

This is the organisation responsible for the local NHS budget. It buys (or commissions) services for Northamptonshire residents from a range of healthcare providers.

Northamptonshire County Council

The local authority is responsible for areas such as adult social care, children and young people's services, education, environment and libraries.

Northampton Borough Council

The borough council deals with issues such as planning, waste and recycling, benefits and parking.

Nene Commissioning

This not-for-profit community interest company set up by GPs across Northamptonshire in order to commission new and improved local health services.

University of Northampton

The University provides learning and skills development for individuals and employees as well as consultancy and research.

Northamptonshire Healthcare Foundation Trust

Northamptonshire Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust provides specialist mental health, learning disability, sexual health and substance misuse services to more than 650,000 people in Northamptonshire.

Northamptonshire Learning Disabilities Partnership Board

This organisation has been running for five years and aims to make our county a better place to live for people with learning disabilities.
