At the last Mental Health Working Group discussions took place around the areas below and the following main concerns were raised:
- Personalised Budgets - being offered to people who could not manage or did not want them.
- Completing the Applications - is a challenge, what support is available?
- Processing Applications - There are still delays in processing applications, an issue identified in the original pilot.
- Support Using the Budget - Once a person has a budget they may need support in using it - there are reports of money being left unused as the individual does not know how to use it.
- Service Buy in - There seems to be a lack of services available to buy - is there some process to map where services are lacking and a plan to address.
